Thank you to all the friendly people who came out to see the Chokebore shows. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed playing these first 2 albums live. Each night felt like the last night of the universe. It was great. We hope to see you again in the future if we decide to tour again.

How to buy the records

Both albums can be purchased online from the Vicious Circle online store, or in the fine record stores distributing the Vicious Circle catalog across Europe (Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, and United Kingdom). The records will also be sold at the shows during the 20^th anniversary tour, kicking off on November 7 in Germany!

Motionless digital release

Previously unavailable in digital format, Motionless gets the full treatment with this reissue: it is now available on Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify, Deezer, and Amazon!

French press

Two French music magazines (Magic and New Noise) have very good articles about the reissues this month, and there's also a funny one in the French version of Vice magazine.

New French tour dates

Two more shows in France have been added to the tour dates page: November 19 at the Antipode in Rennes and November 23 at the Moloco in Audincourt (during the Génériq festival). Stay tuned for more!

The vinyl reissues of Chokebore's first two albums Motionless and Anything Near Water will be released on October 14, and they are now available for pre-order on Vicious Circle's online store!

Both reissues include new sleeve artwork, a colored vinyl record (white for Motionless and orange for Anything Near Water) in a printed inner sleeve, and an MP3 download card with MP3 bonus tracks. Check out some pictures below:

In October this year, Chokebore will celebrate their 20^th anniversary by re-releasing their first two albums Motionless and Anything Near Water on vinyl… And in November, the band will take their old school songs on the road for a European tour!

Originally released by Amphetamine Reptile Records in 1993 and 1995 respectively, and now long out of print in vinyl format, the two records will be reissued by the French label Vicious Circle, which has been Chokebore's new home since the release of the Falls Best EP in 2011.
